Welcome to Vision in Motion! I’m Tim Guest, a 47-year-old husband and dad to two wonderful daughters, now living on the beautiful island of Jersey after moving here from the UK in 2022. My journey has had its share of challenges, including a life-altering year in 2020, when I underwent neurosurgery. Recovery wasn’t easy—I struggled to climb stairs, had lost my strength, and felt disconnected from the life I’d known. But through resilience and the support of my family, I began to rebuild my fitness, finding my way back to health and a new purpose.
I’m currently training for the Ironman 70.3 in Tours, France, set for 2025 (yes I have a Vision!). Fitness has become my foundation and a constant source of motivation. My achievements so far include completing the London Marathon twice and taking on ultramarathons, including Jersey’s Round the Rock and some long mountain bike races. My weekly gym sessions are my “me time”—a chance to clear my mind, set new goals, and push myself further.
Outside of training, I have a passion for hip-hop and techno music, I try to eat well (though I’ll admit, I love a Chinese takeaway now and then), and I work in consulting, supporting companies to achieve their aspirations. I’m here to inspire others, share my journey, and show that with dedication, no goal is too big.
Thank you for visiting, and I hope Goal.Ninja helps you set and smash your goals too!
